William B. Dromgoole, Jr.

William B. Dromgoole, Jr. was born October 29, 1941 to William B. Dromgoole, Sr., and Elizabeth Genevieve (Coppage) Dromgoole in Geary, OK. He passed away Wednesday December 23, 2020 at the Integris Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 79. Willie graduated from Geary High School and attended vocational automotive school. He served in the US Army National Guard. Willie was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Calton September 22, 1965 in Watonga, OK and she preceded him in death January 21, 2017 in OKC. He started working for Ed Fancher Chevrolet and Becker Chevrolet. Willie and Patsy purchased the Geary Auto Clinic in 1974 and for over 40 years he was in business till he retired in 2014 and helped carry on the family tradition of broom making.

Dr. Raymond E. Cook

When we speak of the life contributions of Dr. Raymond E. Cook we are speaking of a true Oklahoman. Dr. Cook loved his family, patients, friends and music ministry. He was a civic leader and visionary of his time. Among Dr. Cook’s many accomplishments, he was instrumental in pioneering chiropractic medicine in the state of Oklahoma. Dr. Raymond E. Cook was born on June 15, 1937 in Oklahoma City, OK to William C. and Mary B. (Egbert) Cook. He passed away on December 12, 2020 in Weatherford, OK at the age of 83. Raymond graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1956, where he was active in the student body, represented his sophomore class as President, and served as president of the Athletic Club. Through the years he has remained active with Capitol Hill High School as the treating physician for athletes, coaches, school administrators, and teachers for more than 20 years. He has had a lifelong commitment to Capitol Hill High School staying involved with the reunion committee, leading committee panels and planning events for his classmates. He played college football on scholarship at Tulsa University. He then went to Chiropractic College in OKC, OK, then moved to Davenport, Iowa to attend Palmer Chiropractic College and finished his doctorate at Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO, graduating in 1961.

Nolia Fern Ricker was born on May 9, 1929 to Fay Mourer and Muriel Mae (Chronister) Weathers on the family farm west of Hinton, OK. She passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Weatherford, OK at the age of 91. Fern grew up west of Hinton, attending Pleasant View Country School and graduated from Hinton High School Class of 1947. Fern was united in marriage to John H. "Jack" Ricker on April 3, 1955 at the United Methodist Church in El Reno, Oklahoma.

Rebecca Suzanne Higgins

Rebecca Suzanne Higgins was born December 25, 1937 in Chelsea, OK to Roy L. Hicks and Lola Mae James. She passed away December 8, 2020 in Weatherford, OK at the age of 82. Sue graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1956. She met Raymond Cook while they were both working for C.R. Anthony Co. They were married March 6, 1958 in Oklahoma City. They moved to Davenport, Iowa where Sue worked for Singer Sewing Machine Co. while Raymond attended Chiropractic School. They moved to St. Louis, MO where he finished school and then the couple relocated to OKC in 1961. Their first son, Bryan, was born in 1962, then came Doug in 1964 and lastly Kay Lynn in 1966. Sue was dedicated to her life’s work, raising her children. In 1969 she moved her family to Cedar Lake. They attended Cedar Lake Chapel. Sue was active in the Home Demonstration Club and was Caddo County Homemaker of the Year. She was very active with all her kids’ activities. Sue was present at all of their sporting events. Sue enjoyed gardening and raised a full acre garden. She entered produce in The Hinton Fair where she won many blue ribbons. In 1983 Sue moved to El Reno, OK and then to Eufaula where she married Bob Tucker. Bob preceded her in death in 1993. She later married Joe Higgins in 1998, and he preceded her in death in 2008. Sue moved to Weatherford in 2010 to be close to her children. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Weatherford, OK where she was active in her Sunday School class. She enjoyed bowling and playing Bunco. She loved OU Football and knew all of the statistics involving her team. Sue loved fishing, cooking, quilting, sewing and all things crafty. She could do anything she set her mind to. A neighbor recently said about Sue, “She had the constitution of a cast iron skillet.” She was an exceptional mother and grandmother.
