Budget Break Down

Body
OKLAHOMA - At statehood, Oklahoma did not yet have its own prison system—inmates had to be sent to Kansas. HINTON - Halloween. Thanksgiving and Christmas will be upon us before we know it. Even though many of us are sticking close to home and a lot of our travels have been stopped, this year has really gone by quickly. I know I won't be spending Thanksgiving with my sister in New Mexico this year. I am not comfortable flying as of yet so I am staying put at home.

Lady Comets Named to All-District Team

Body
HINTON - Six players from the Comets fastpitch softball team were named to the Class 2A-District 1 All District Team this week. Sierra Weathers, Talyn Wheeler and Cali Kirchoff were all named to the team while Hannah Deviney, Demi Dahlenburg and Allyssa Gomez were all named Honorable Mention. Head Coach Garrett Hannah had this to say about the announcement. “Having these 3 named to the All-District Team was not only a great individual accomplishment but also a significant team accomplishment. All of the accomplishments an individual has received, or we have received as a team goes to everyone involved with this program. We work our tails off and have kids pushing each other. I am extremely proud of their efforts this fall, and I am looking forward to how they follow it up in the spring.”
