Hinton Trio Enjoy Girls Wrestling History

The Hinton Trio, better known as Rain VanTassel, Talli Taylor and Anna Kilpatrick, returned from the inaugural girls state wrestling championships happy for the experience but hungry for more. VanTassel fell short of a championship at 127 pounds, Taylor finished fifth at 107 pounds and Kilpatrick lost in the 185-pound pigtail match.

Hinton boys win, girls lose Seth Spady’s double-double led the Hinton boys basketball team to a 53-38 Area 1 District 2 championship win Monday night over Sayre High School. Spady finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
