Kirkland Looking to Retain District Judge Seat

District Judge Kory Kirkland has formally announced his candidacy to retain his seat as District Judge of Grady and Caddo counties.

“Being a Judge is not easy, but it is worth it,” Kirkland said. “It is an honor to serve Grady and Caddo County as your District Judge and I hope to do so for a very long time. I believe in justice, fairness and hard work. I want anyone who walks into my courtroom to know that I listen to what they have to say and follow the law. It is very important to treat each person, attorney or not, with dignity and respect.”

Judge Kirkland grew up in Waurika, Oklahoma, where he was active in sports and worked as a farm hand. After high school, he attended the University of Oklahoma, and then Oklahoma City University School of Law.
