OTC Reports a $16,180.57 Rise in Revenue for Hinton

The City of Hinton saw an $16,180.57 increase in sales tax revenue and net taxable sales for the month of February, according to an Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC) report released earlier this past week.

The February distribution of sales tax collections by the Oklahoma Tax Commission primarily represents local tax receipts from December business. Companies that remit more than $2,500 monthly in sales tax receipts are required to file and pay electronically. The monies they reported this period represent sales from December 16 to December 31 and estimated sales from January 1 to January 15.
