NextEra Presents a $7,000 Check Donation to Hinton High School

On August 10, NextEra Energy Resources, a subsidiary of NextEra Energy, today announced its support for a new blended personalized learning model, supplying an entire class at Hinton High School with Google Chromebooks.

NextEra Energy Resources is the owner and developer of wind energy centers within Caddo County.

“Having the opportunity to integrate Chromebooks into the curriculum is a huge advantage for our students,” said Richard Brownen, Superintendent of Hinton Public Schools. “We are excited to see how this new technology will expand the students’ educational opportunities and give teachers a new tool to stimulate learning. I want to thank NextEra Energy Resources for its strong and ongoing support of our school district and of this new blended personalized learning model.”
