Hinton Senior Citizens Bowling

If you like sports like we do, you were watching on television the 35th U.S. Senior Championship at Oak Tree National in Edmond, Oklahoma. The excitement was breathtaking in 99-degree heat with fans walking the course, trying not to miss a putt. Gene Sauers and Colin Montgomery went for an extra special 3-hole playoff. The 18th hole always tells the story. With a 16-foot putt, Colin Montgomery joined Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Hale Irwin, and Roger Chapman as the only players to win the Senior PGA and U.S. Senior Open during the same year. Oak Tree National is the 3rd hardest course to play in the United States. Colin said he wants to tell everyone in Britain about it. We are so proud of these gentlemen for being good sports all the way!
